Help Us Build

While we love our space at the John Fich Steamboat Museum, we have loads of artifacts and exhibits that we still want people to see! Dedicated to the men and women of the Naval Air Development Center (NADC): they won the Cold War and helped put a man on the Moon.

Our grand vision features the Navy’s state of the art technology paired with interactive science exhibits for kids.  Major donors will have the honor of bringing this project to life, but every contribution counts so join with us now!

Save the GONDOLA!!!

The original capsule that was used to train all of the early astronauts like Alan Shepard, John Glenn and Neil Armstrong is in danger of collapse. Although we retrieved it from a Smithsonian storage yard in Maryland and brought it home to Bucks County, corrosion from its having been in outdoor storage for more than 50 years has taken its toll.

While we currently have it shrink wrapped for protection, a recent conservator report informs us that it is in dire need of preservation.  Help us save this unique piece of space history. It’s a real national treasure.
