Step back in time for an unforgettable evening inspired by one of the most famous voyages in history.

“A Night to Remember: The Last Dinner on the Titanic” is a special fundraising event recreating the final first-class dinner served aboard the R.M.S. Titanic. Guests will experience an elegant evening that combines history, storytelling, fine dining, and rare artifacts, all while supporting the preservation efforts of the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum (NADC Museum).

The evening commemorates the Titanic’s historic voyage with a carefully curated program that transports guests back to April 14, 1912.

Previous Titanic dinner events have sold out quickly, and early reservations are strongly encouraged.

Experience History as It Was Served in 1912

Guests attending the event will enjoy a recreation of the elegant dining experience once served in the Titanic’s first-class dining room.

The evening will feature:

This immersive evening offers a rare opportunity to experience history while supporting a museum dedicated to preserving one of the most unique scientific research sites in American history.

Special Guest Speaker: Lewis Abernathy

The evening will feature a presentation by Lewis Abernathy, known to many as treasure hunter Lewis Bodine in James Cameron’s Titanic (1997).

Abernathy has worked closely with filmmaker James Cameron on several major documentary projects, including:

  • Expedition: Bismarck(2002)
  • Ghosts of the Abyss (2003)
  • Aliens of the Deep (2005)

An avid wreck diver and adventurer, Abernathy has explored numerous historic shipwrecks worldwide. In 2007, he led a successful underwater expedition that located the long-lost aircraft of the S.C. Johnson family, known as the Carnauba.

He holds an MFA in Cinema from the University of Southern California’s prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program and has enjoyed a diverse career in the film industry. His unique experiences, both underwater and in Hollywood, have even included work connected to films such as the Coen Brothers’ The Big Lebowski.

Exclusive Titanic Artifact Exhibition

The evening will also feature an exclusive exhibition of authentic Titanic artifacts and memorabilia from the private collection of renowned Titanic historian Craig Sopin.

This exhibit offers guests a rare opportunity to see historic artifacts from the Titanic up close. It will be the only Titanic dinner event in the region, during which Mr. Sopin will display items from his collection.
